The wrong lane Do you remember the times we had to find our way without digital help? Navigation was just a fiction, all we had was a map and a handwritten description And when you thought you were just in time, take the exit and then straight ahead It starts to rain and you’re missin’ the right lane, getting lost was a part of the game Seems like you’re hittin’ the wrong lane again And the only one to blame is yourself my friend Somethin’ else on your mind, the wrong way is easy to find You’ll get no second chance, if you don’t make it in time Now you feel safe with your satellite guide even if you know the way The program says you’ll arrive in time, if you depend on a different route today But that roadblock is not in the system & you haven’t been here before It’s gonna take at least twice as long, but you don’t have no time anymore Seems like you’re hittin’ the wrong lane again And the only one to blame is yourself my friend Somethin’ else on your mind, the wrong way is easy to find Again you blew your chance to make it in time I heard the devil callin’ my name, got the details for a meeting place I will pay for all of my sins, look him straight in the face Right in time, but the system failed, I couldn’t find the way to hell Well I’m gonna do a little more runnin’ – tell the devil: I ain’t comin’! Seems like you’re hittin’ the wrong lane again And the only one to blame is yourself my friend Somethin’ else on your mind, the wrong way is so easy to find You’ll get no second chance, if you don’t make it in time Somethin’ else on your mind the wrong way is so easy to find You’ll get no second chance, if you don’t make it in time You’ll get no second chance, if you don’t make it in time Da da da da da da da

As Long 06:02
As Long As long as there’s another war and people suffering more and more As long as millions are starving to death and tons of food are wasted somewhere else As long as we don’t respect human rights and false ideologies are the reason for fights Innocent people are imprisoned and tortured and way too many animals slaughtered As long as so many things go wrong I cannot close my eyes too long As long as so many things go wrong I will not rest for very long As long as there’s illegal deforestation and no solution to the climate protection As there’s trafficking in human beings and forced labor’s killing children’s dreams As long as lobby’s got too much influence and cannot be made accountable Fascist murders run through the land and policemen remove evidence As long as so many things go wrong I cannot close my eyes too long As long as so many things go wrong I will not rest for very long As long as not everyone has freedom of religion and expression There’s still countries that discriminate women and rapists don’t have to fear a conviction As long as the church is tellin’ lies, making no efforts to apologize But hinder the investigation of crimes committed by clergymen As long as so many things go wrong I cannot close my eyes too long As long as so many things go wrong I will not rest for very long As long as the rich are getting richer and the poor still getting poorer Corruption is the key to success and equal rights mean nothing to the upper class As long as so many things go wrong I cannot close my eyes too long As long as so many things go wrong I will not rest for very long As long as so many things go wrong I cannot close my eyes too long As long as so many things go wrong I will not rest for very long As long as there’s another war and people suffering more and more

Blink Of An Eye We had the summer, we had diamonds In the fields under the sun Some kind of magical alliance But it's long since gone We spent the nights beside the campfire Or in the trailer by the sea With songs that lasted forever And moments of eternity Not afraid of tryin and not scared of dyin Immortal for the blink of an eye Never cared what they’re sayin or how much you’re payin Immortal for the blink of an eye For the blink of an eye We never thought about tomorrow We were young, we had no clue But there was laughter and no sorrow Every ounce of life we drew Not afraid of tryin and not scared of dyin Immortal for the blink of an eye Never cared what they’re sayin or how much you’re payin Immortal for the blink of an eye For the blink of an eye For the blink of an eye

A Bitter Taste Of Tears Am I right, am I wrong? Did I only stay too long? Who’s got the answers? Just tell me one When all the questions come undone Is it real or is it still a dream? What was happenin’ in between? You wanna hold the moment but it fades as soon as it appears And leaves a bitter taste of tears We crawl we run, we hide again, we will stumble now and then We don’t know why, we don’t know when But everybody’s got the masterplan Is it real or is it still a dream? What was happenin’ in between? You wanna hold the moment but it fades as soon as it appears And leaves a bitter taste of tears Again we walk on empty streets, we know the way and where to it leads Still we don’t know what we are looking for And when we think that we have found, but then there’s no one else around We have to find another open door Is it real or is it still a dream? What was happenin’ in between? How can I keep it, when pictures vanish on the screen Is it real or still a dream? Is it real or is it still a dream? What was happenin’ in between? We wanna hold the moment but it fades as soon as it appears And leaves a bitter taste of tears It leaves a bitter taste of tears It leaves a bitter taste of tears It leaves a bitter taste of tears It leaves a bitter taste of tears

A Couple Of Brews It’s 3 o’clock pm and I’m getting a tan through the open window of the van Dark shades cover my eyes, I’m enjoying the ride and the picturesque countryside Been travelin’ this road for so many times I guess it’s just what I’m supposed to do Again I will be playin’ for nickels and dimes A place to sleep and a couple of brews The guitar’s in the back, my shirt is black, so is the bandana ‘round my neck The breeze cools me down, passin’ another town on the way southbound Been travelin’ this road for so many times I guess it’s just what I’m supposed to do Again I will be playin’ for nickels and dimes A place to sleep and a couple of brews A couple brews What a perfect day, what can I say, there’s nothin’ to complain I hear Bob Dylan sing as the sun shines in, all of a sudden the alarm clock rings 6 in the morning, now the birds sing Just in the middle of a dream What a change of mood, get in the work pants’ blue and put on the security boots Jump in the car, you don’t have to go far, everything seems so bizarre Been drivin down this road for so many times I guess it’s not what I’m supposed to do I’d rather be playin’ for nickels and dimes A place to sleep and a couple of brews a couple of brews a couple of brews a couple of brews

You’re Not Good Enough This is a story about ramblin' Allan Who fell in love with a girl named Suzanne The daughter of a very wealthy man Who was tellin' him: You will never get anywhere You will never ever marry her We have a strong family tradition We're all bankers in a high position You're not good enough, don't waste my time You got no class and you never will have It's not even worth tryin' You're not good enough, don't waste my time You got no class and you never will have It's not even worth tryin' Suzanne broke family tradition Her father couldn't accept the decision She married Allan and they moved away He couldn't forget what the old man did say You're not good enough, don't waste my time You got no class and you never will have It’s not even worth tryin' You're not good enough, don't waste my time You got no class and you never will have It’s not even worth tryin' And then the financial market collapsed The greedy old man lost all he had Well, he was responsible for this mess after all Still didn't see his fault And it happened one day that he showed up all desperate and wasted Beggin' Suzanne and Allan for help: My son in law you are the best Allan turned him down and said: You're not good enough, don't waste my time You got no class and you never will have It's not even worth tryin' You're not good enough, don't waste my time You got no class and you never have had It's not even worth tryin' You're not good enough

Welcome To My Home I pulled in this run down place For some gas and a call on the phone And to get right back on the road For a long way home I pulled in this run down place For a paper cup of coffee to go And the attendant’s tellin’ me His entire life story Welcome to my home Where livin’ used to be good Now the best part of the town is still a bad neighborhood We used to go to work Where some of us are sleepin’ now The factory in this old town They shut it down They say that time will heal And it’s a nice day I can see But I can’t feed my family This is torturing me Welcome to my home Where livin’ used to be good Now the best part of the town is still a bad neighborhood Just ‘cause I got this job Doesn’t mean that it’s good Workin’ for tips is just a bit better than beggin’ for food I was born and raised in this wretched place I worked in this factory for almost thirty years Now poor men and beggin’ men shape the townscape People in despair, winos and thieves Welcome to my home Where livin’ used to be good Now the best part of the town is still a bad neighborhood Just ‘cause I got this job Doesn’t mean that it’s good Workin’ for tips is just a bit better than beggin’ for food Welcome to my home Where livin’ used to be good Now the best part of the town is still a bad neighborhood I pulled in this run down place For some gas and a call on the phone Still a long way home

Your Time Is Now Another year passes by, reflecting laughter and cries While things improve from different point of views There’s still a lot of bad news The skeptic and the unbeliever will have their time someday The lovers succeed and the haters will bleed There’s a little piece of peace Don’t wait until the cards get shuffled again Your time is now You never know what tomorrow will bring Your time is now The Christmas tree is in the dustbin, the shine is still in the room Now everybody’s rushin' through the daily routine again, waiting for the weekend Or just waiting for the pension and the good times might never come But tonight I’m sittin' on the top of the world and I won’t come down Don’t wait until the cards get shuffled again Your time is now You never know what tomorrow will bring Your time is now Don’t wait until the cards get shuffled again Your time is now You never know what tomorrow will bring Your time is now Your time is now Your time is now

The Lucky Ones Loyal and true he was, in my young days When popularity was no stranger to me The times on the sunny side, tender embrace One of his best friends is called prosperity Sometimes I didn’t seem to realize his presence Quite often he appeared in close proximity You cannot say that he was conspicuous by his absence Without a doubt he likes the company of The Lucky ones, the poor and the weak are no attraction As soon as those days are gone, he leaves without exception I haven’t met him once, since he’s been gone And I don’t miss him much, maybe so does he When loneliness moves in, down goes the sun And he will disappear, to find new company of The Lucky ones, the poor and the weak are no attraction As soon as those days are gone, he leaves without exception Moving and struggling, from town to town Almost forgot him and the days of glory But now the wheel of fortune, spins the other way around He’s back again. They call him: "Envy" He likes the company of The Lucky one, the poor and the weak are no attraction As soon as those days are gone, he’s back without exception 'cause he likes the company of The Lucky one, the poor and the weak are no attraction As soon as those days are gone, he’s back without exception he’s back without exception
